I first got in to 3D when a friend showed me the game Red Faction in 2002, there was a create your own level editor that I picked up and started creating my own 3D levels. I found it great fun to create game levels from your imagination. I have as much passion for games as films and I would love to work on some games some time in my future.
I later moved into 3DS Max after picking up a demo with a copy of 3D World, and have not stopped learning since. I would not consider myself a naturally gifted artist, I just really enjoy CG work and have put in thousands of hours of practice at the craft of CG.
I spent 7 years working in post production film (VFX) as a CG Artist. During this time I have work on 23 movies and gained film credits as a Matchmover, Modeller, texture Artist, Lighting TD and CG Generalist. My favourite film to work on was Dredd (2012) and the most embarrassing was 'Marmaduke', a talking dog film!
After my time in film I transitioned to working in video games, where I have been for the last 2+ years. Really my first deep passion as a child as playing Sonic The Hedgehog, so developing video games definitely feels like something I was meant to do. Currently in development of Star Wars battlefront 2.

I enjoy working on games a bit more than films so I see myself doing this for many more years to come. I love the company I work for but there are still a few places I would like to work at some day in my future. I would love to work at Pixar, Weta, Crystal Dynamics and Naughty Dog!
